Hello there!!
Sorry for the mini hiatus but the OB-GYN rotation is kicking my butt lately plus my internet connection acted up a bit last week.=P I am more busy here than when I was rotating in Surgery. Thought I wouldn't like it but so far I'm really enjoying the baby bumps and yes I see tons of vajay-jay everyday, yes TONS!!!

I'm also happy to tell you that I've been good with sticking with my New Year's resolution and these are some of them:

Go to the hospital early-- 6:55AM. (GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR!)
Eat at least 1 serving of fruit or veggies daily
Jog a few times a week and hula-hoop everyday (except when I'm on duty)
Study as much lessons I can when I have free time esp when I'm in the hospital

Proper outfit posts and blogwalking this weekend, ok?

Halloooooooo there!!

Before posting my NY's Resloution post, another dose of backblogs from me hehe.. The first set of pics were taken during our Interns' christmas party. Thanks Tzi for taking these pics! As you can see, I got picnik crazy again. You guys should try it, editing is so addictive and fun!

Here I used the HDR-ish effect because it makes my pink skirt look more metallic and foil-y. I like.

In this pic I used Cinema scope. This effect evokes the old films vibe in the pictures. So dramatic!
Lastly, I used the Holga-ish effect in this one. I loved it because it made my hair redder than usual.=)

Next series of pics were taken on New Year's Eve. As I said on my last post I was duty that day. This is actually my 2nd year of being on duty on NYE. It was actually fun, at around 10pm we camwhored in the hospital lobby because there weren't many patients in the ER yet.

At 12AM, there was a free buffet at the hospital lobby then we all went outside to watch some fireworks. The surgery residents brought some firecrackers too!

And then 2 minutes after the countdown, the nurse was fetching us already. "Doktora, me stabwound tayo, 29 times sa likod!" ("Dr. we have a stabwound patient, he's been stabbed 29 times in the back!!") Kalowka talaga ang mga lasenggo sa atin! So I hurriedly ran back to the ER and that was just the first. We ended up with lots of stabwound patients, fire-cracker related burns and of course ang walang kamatayang naaksidente sa motor (motorcycle accidents)!

Raise your hand (or comment) if you hate motorcycle riders!!
I wanna know if it's just me. I kinda hate them with a passion, especially those fathers who
ride with their little kids, like 3-4 year old kiddies. Uuuuuggghh so irresponsible.

YEY FOR LOCAL FINDS!

My friends and I were supposed to have dinner in Tagaytay (cooler part, South of Manila) but we decided not to because I couldn't find my eyeglasses and I can't drive longer distances with this poor eyesight of mine (200/20!). So we just ate dinner at Conti's in Nuvali in Sta. Rosa Laguna I'm officially in love with that place, Philippine readers you must go there! Nuvali is my favorite camwhore land from now on. Will go back there during daytime so you can appreciate the pics more. Good thing it's just 30 minutes away from home.

VERSATILITY is the "theme" of my outfit. I wore my blue tie-dye tank again! This tank is so versatile (it's her 3rd appearance on my blog, wore it here and here) and it's great for breaking up an all black outfit. Also wearing one of my closet staples -- the basic black tube top that I always always wear as a mini skirt. It's only 135 pesos (less than $3).

My holiday break is coming to an end. I think I'm gonna have holiday dinner withdrawals come January. I'm kinda sad to leave the Surgery Department because I had so much fun during my 2 months there.. Eeeekkkk OB-GYN rotation on January! Me not likey.

I'll be greeting you an advanced HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I'm duty on New Year's Eve so I won't have NYE dress post.=(
But I'm really excited for my Emergency Room duty tomorrow I hope I get to suture a lot!!

How was your Christmas? Hope it was fun and memorable. I was too busy cooking (only cooked spaghetti =P) and munching on Christmas eve that taking outfit pics escaped my mind so I don't have decent pics of my Christmas eve outfit. Just posting stuff from a few days before. =) This was after last minute christmas shopping and dinner with the family..

Today was spent in BF's house. We ate a lot like, every 2 hours, watched DVDs and played with our dog Stella. Just realized that it's also fun not to think of outfit pics and blogging and just enjoy.=P But now that I'm in front of my laptop again I must say I miss blogging, can't wait to catch up on everyone's blogs..=)

Same dress, different year

Wore this dress around this time 2 years ago at my friends' class x-mas party. Wore it again today but styled it differently. This time, I wore it with a knitted cardigan and ankle booties. Still love it with tights but I wanted to look more casual since we were just supposed to buy something in the mall and watch avatar but sister and I got lazy and decided to just have some pizza delivered at home and watch TV haha.. The traffic is super crazy!

Pajama turned into blazer: Surplus Shop; Forever 21 shirt; Shorts from a bazaar; Renegade fold shoes; Folded and Hung chain necklace

I wore my $3 pajama turned into blazer.
Wore it with a relaxed white shirt and bright colored shoes so that I won't look matronic because sometimes leopard print makes you look older, but it always depends on the styling..=)

In between drinking, videoke-ing and munching, my friends and I would sneak outside for a mini photoshoot and to gossip a little. We were supposed to take pictures on the street near the big trees but some stray dogs didn't like the idea and kept on growling at us. We were so scared but we still kept on trying haha. In the end we just opted for the garage and walkway in my friend's apartment. I am super happy that all my friends are always willing to take my pictures. Even before I started blogging they have always been tiyaga (patient) with my demanding camwhore needs haha! We can't be friends if you can't take good shots of me, unless you play very good Tong-its (card games) haha! Yes, only 2 requirements.=P

Yey for Christmas parties, dressing up and camwhore sessions!=)

Kinda disappointed that we had to wear white tops and jeans as costume for our dance number because I actually planned on wearing a dress. Kinda a last minute announcement good thing I had a decent white top hiding in my closet here in my apartment. And oh yes, I do not have a flat iron! As you can see, the pleats in my top look like a mess haha..=)

Yay they let us join the Christmas party despite us being on duty. In case you're wondering why I'm sitting on a wheelchair, it's already a tradition for the Surgery Christmas party that the person who is the most drunk gets to be pushed into a wheelchair and brought down from the penthouse of the hotel into his/her car. How embarrassing! And no, I was not that person haha.. The throne/wheelchair is only for Surgery residents, (I am still an intern) just sat on it for photo-op purposes as usual haha. We didn't even get to eat or drink because we thought there weren't food left so we just transferred to a place nearby for some food and drinks.

When we were about to go home, we all agreed to stop by the Pinoy Big Brother's house as it was super near the Christmas party venue. Surprised that they weren't too strict with regards to taking pics and getting near the house. There were 2 guards at the entrance door. Sorry for the crappy pics. I forgot that my camera works well with lowlight. Shouldn't have used the flash. Super fun camwhoring with my co-interns! We love wacky pics..=)

My Holiday Essentials

The holiday seasons are here and holidays = dinner with friends, family reunions and the endless Christmas parties. I do not plan to shop for myself this December since I'm kinda broke, the malls are in a state of chaos and I'm waiting for the sales on January. Also, I want to maximize the pieces that I already have in my closet. So I'm making this my season for mixing and matching! Here are some the pieces that I plan to incorporate into my holiday dressing. Most of these are old stuff from my closet except for the hair thingies..=) Since I'll be wearing my old mostly gray/black clothes I'll just add these few pieces to make my look a little bit more festive. (All from SM department store)

Headbands with rhinestones or feather details are a cheap way to instantly liven up an all black ensemble.(Unbranded fringe scarf; Patricia Field for Marks and Spencer scarf)

Probably the only time I could wear scarves for its real purpose -- to keep me warm!Tights can polish a look in an instant.
You can also wear them with your too short dresses that's been hiding in your closet.

I unearthed my woven oversized clutch in my closet. Yey I thought I lost this yellow baby. The smallest one was the clutch I used during my graduation last April. The black one with the pyramid stud is such a steal I got it for $10.

I will always be loyal to the smoky eye look as it is the look that I've kinda mastered but I will also try experimenting with my new palette that I got from the bazaar.

Sorry for the slow updates. It's just that I made an early New Year's resolution to study for at least 2 hours everyday including weekends. And since November 25, I've been sticking with the plan very very well. I'm buying myself Royce chocolate next week if I continue on doing so haha..Hopefully, I'll get to post more since I'll be going out a lot this December.

Tomorrow is Surgery's Christmas party and I'm on duty (AGAIN!) at the ER! Booo.. I don't know if we could make takas (sneak out of the hospital) later into the night but we still have to ask the chief Surgery resident for permission..=( I SERIOUSLY WANT TO GO!

It's December and I can feel the Christmas breeze! Time to whip out the blazers yey! I've always loved the blazer + shorts look but
I get really cold easily. Times like these I wish I wasn't such a "ginawin" person. Is it just me or is it colder this year than the last no?

this is my school shoes that I also wear elsewhere because it's so cute! it is patent and has GIANT ribbons and crystals.

Hallooooooooo!! What are you guys up to lately? I just finished watching Ninja Assassin with my medschool friends Dharn and Maneesh. Awesome movie. For someone who has seen lots of gory stuff in the ER, I still find it a tad gruesome for my taste. Actually thought it was a Quentin Tarantino movie because of all the blood. But all in all, I liked the movie a lot. LOL we were so noisy in the movie house because my friend, Dharn is SUPER SUPER in love with Rain! We kept on commenting about how great Rain's body was everytime Rain's topless and that is like 80% of the movie.

I hope they incorporated a dance number somewhere in the storyline haha.=P

And no, we didn't plan to match.. We laughed when we saw each other clad in gray tops.
Jacqui Babooshki!!

Last night I went out with my oldest girlfriends for dinner and cocktails. We have been friends since 6th grade and we saw each other in our "nene" (little girls)/awkward phase. My friend Jacqui is leaving for Singapore for work so we had a going away get together. So much fun, gossiping all night about Manny Pacquiao and her rumored girlfriend Krista Ranillo and other local showbiz gossip. It all started when she saw my shoes and I told her that I liked how it looked like it's bordering on hooker heels but still classy and then she blurted, "yeah like a baby prostitute!! "Si Krista Ranillo ka na!" hahahhaha.. We're all TEAM JINKEE by the way.

It was a fun night, we drank on the 31st floor of Vivere Suites and they had a promo: Unlimited cocktails for only 350 pesos ($7)! So we drank and camwhored like crazy! I like the place so much, I plan to hang out there more often..=P We planned to have a sleepover at my friend's house and have an early breakfast, but when we got home at 3Am we were so hungry that we already ate the supposedly breakfast. I slept for about an hour and drove to the hospital because I had a Biochem exam.

Our conversations went like this:

Me: "Nasan na un si Suzette Ranillo?" (Whatever happened to Suzette Ranillo- a local celebrity)
Raizza: Aba malay ko di ko na nakikita sa TV! (I don't know, haven't seen her on TV lately)
Me: Hiwalay na sila ni Matt Ranillo no? (They're divorced right?)
Raizza: Gaga! Magkapatid sila! (Silly! They're siblings!)
HAHAHAHA

And oh, if anybody's interested I listed what I used for my make-up that day. I'm no expert but I like to try new tricks and looks..=)

Today is a happy day for us Filipinos. Manny Pacquiao made us proud again! Woot woot! I told you he's gonna box the hell out of Cotto, whom I kinda have a little crush on, BTW..=) He's kinda cute no? Watched the fight live at the cinemas then camwhored afterwards.=) The sister and I decided it's the perfect time to wear our "WHERE I'M FROM, EVERYONE'S A HERO SHIRT" I ordered a month ago.

LSS song for today: "PILIPINO, PILIPINO, PILIPINO ANG LAHI KO!!" Manny's song was played non-stop near the ticket booths.

My normally dry hair decided to be extra dry today. Uugghhhhh.
Plus it was unusually windy today. weird.

Check out What's in my bag JINKEE PACQUIAO version. I like that she opted for a Kelly instead of the easy choice Birkin. So happy for her that she's living the life. Some people are giving her flak for having nice things. But seriously if you have millions of DOLLARS (not pesos) wouldn't you buy these things too? She deserves it imagine having mini-heart attacks because your husband's life is always in danger every single fight. Plus, she stuck with Pacquiao even in his poor days..

Heck if I were Jinkee, I would wear Balmain to get groceries, Chanel haute couture to hear mass, Christian Lacroix to watch movies, Missoni caftans as "duster"/house clothes and hire Kate Lanphear and Liz Uy as my stylists.

She has 200,000 pesos ($4,000) cash inside her bag, antaray diba?! Since you moved up to Hermes, please give me na lang your old Chanel bags!!=P

Birthday dinner with the boy last Saturday. I bet you are so sick of reading the word Birthday in my blog, no? I will be abusing the word throughout the whole month of November haha! Went to Greenbelt to look for my present from BF, I wanted this certain bib necklace but when we went to Firma they only got one and it's not what I wanted so I'll probably order it instead of buying it from the store. So we only looked around, since I don't really frequent this mall as much as I want to.

It's funny how my style has rubbed off on the boy. While looking at a wall full of men's sneakers, we reached out for the same blue sneakers. He turned to me and said, "OMG, I'm gay!" hahaha. Usually, we don't really agree on his sneaker and basketball shoe choices. He's all for simple and classic designs and I'm all for "statement! statement!".

Went to dinner at La Scala in Malate. I like this restaurant a lot because there are lots of eyecandy. The resto is owned by an avid collector of vintage everything. From old Coca-Cola memorabilias, old newspaper clippings, old records, old Starwars toys and other interesting stuff. Too bad there were no vintage Transformers, the boyfriend will surely go crazy if there were! Some random pics inside: Was about to take more (picture taking is allowed here) but this foreigner got paranoid and approached us, demanding us to delete her picture?!?! And we didn't even point at her direction! uuuggghhh so I ended up with only a few.

This is an interesting picture. I spy Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, C3Po, James Dean, Charlie Chaplin, Batman, Frankenstein, Roger Rabbit, Julia Robert's and Richard Gere's characters in Pretty Woman and ET. I swear I kinda am familiar with the others but I don't know their names. Care to identify more?

Fun night, since the place isn't packed we got to stay longer and reminisced about highschool memories! I realized we have been friends since the time Nokia 5110 was considered THE COOLEST cellphone LOL!

We didn't plan to match. It was purely coincidence. I bought him this Topman shirt a year ago. He doesn't like it that much because it is V-neck and looks blouse-y but he still wears it because it's from me.

Forget the main course, what I want to show you is my dessert!! Bought this at the Royce kiosk in Greenbelt and was resisting the urge to open it before dinner. Nyum nyum nyum I was munching this yummy chocolate potatochips in BF's car. Uuugghhh why did I post this pics now I'm suddenly craving for it in the middle of the night.

We are allowed to wear civilian clothes over the uniform white blazers during our weekend duties. I don't usually wear floral pieces during duty as I feel it's informal and frilly (although we don't really have a dress code just No No's like: no plunging, no stilletos, no mini skirt, no see thru clothes. Usually, I wear blouse-y tops because I want to look respectable and older than my age because I feel like some patients don't take me seriously (only a very few though) but since it was my birthday, I wore a cheery dress over pants. I love the fact that it reminds me of old school, bordering on baduy (tacky) table cloth haha.

Birthday duty wasn't so bad. I treated my co-interns with pizza! (It's like the pambansang panlibre in our hospital hahah!!) When we woke up the next day, my co-interns and I were still bloated from the pizza and soda.

This is the dining area in our female lounge, it's kinda messy but it's been our 2nd home for 6 months now. We have a new TV in the lounge, we chipped in 50 pesos ($1) each for it but the antenna sucks. The only clear channels are Channel 7, QTV and Net 25 uggghhhh.. I'm not a TV person but please I CANNOT STAND GMA 7 SHOWS, seriously. DAISY SIETE JUICE KO DAY.

Pajama turned into Blazer: Surplus shop; Get Laud tube top worn as a skirt; SM department store booties

Would you believe me if I tell you that I got this blazer looking pajamas in Surplus shop? It came with a drawstring satin pajama bottom. It was priced at 399 pesos ($8) but when I was at the cash register there was still an additional markdown and I ended up paying 150 pesos ($3) for this animal print baby. I'm planning to put shoulder pads next time..=)

Ok, I'm not riding anything or anywhere. Last night sister and I tried to camwhore in the bathtub. The concept of our camwhoring session was "afterparty in the bathtub" we found an unopened bottle of red wine lying around the house and used it as props. Props because in reality there will be no drinking on my exact birthday and I drink like 5-6 times a YEAR, seriously! As I've told you in my older post, I'm duty today and yeah I spent/will be spending the whole day until tomorrow in the hospital.

*I was born at exactly 2:50 pm 25 years ago! This is the first time that I did not spend birthday with my family and boyfriend. Birthday was spent cleaning an old man's super super scraped knee because he got into a bicycle accident, wound dressing of an ingrown toenail, assisting in placing a cast on a patient's fractured arm (of course there had to be at least 1 motorcycle accident per duty) following up X-ray results, IV insertions, eating pizza for dinner, having fun with my co-interns. Not glamorous, but really fun and fascinating..

Tomorrow, after my duty, I will be picking out my present from the boy.. So excited! I hope it's still in the availabe in the store.

Bye for now, just squeezed in this post but I'm off to check the stations for new patients/admissions..=) So much work to do. Will check out your blogs as soon as I have time, ok?=)

Impromptu photoshoot with my sister because I can't stop tinkering with my new toy/birthday gift from my daddy!! He got me the Canon 500D/Rebel Xt1i that I've been wanting. I'm not really fond of smiling in pictures but really, my heart is jumping up and down and doing the happy dance!=)

I'm wearing sleepwear/"pambahay" (houseclothes) because I'm too lazy to change into a real outfit. I just wore my platform heels instead of my flipflops and smoky eye (again!) to look half decent. I kinda think the sweater is wearable if I pair it with shorts or black skinny jeans. In the meantime, please bear with the sight of my huge thighs haha!

I'm turning a QUARTER of a CENTURY in 2 days! (on the 7th)

Last night, I went to dinner with my highschool friends. It was fun catching up and exchanging silly gossip that we all got from facebook haha! It was raining super hard when I was about to get dressed. Feeling lazy to cook up an outfit, the only outfits that came to mind was this and this. My only requirement: something with a HOOD because I hate carrying an umbrella. In fact I don't have one. In the end this gray dress won because it's just so easy to wear.

The boy picked me up a little late than usual because he got stuck in traffic driving from the cemetery, hence, the made up face. Usually I hop in his car with zero make-up and dripping wet hair but I just had so much time and tried on the smoky eye. I'm not very good with blending but you know what they say, practice makes perfect!=)

To commemorate the first day of my Surgery rotation, I'm sharing you gorgeous post-op editorials. No pain, no gain at its finest! I'm so happy I'm back at the Surgery rotation again, I'll be spending 2 months yey! The only thing that sucks is that I'm duty on ALL the upcoming holidays..=( But anyway, surgery is one of my favorite rotations along with ENT and Ophtha. This is one of the "funnest" rotations ever! The residents are super cool and you know me I LOVE to sew! Whether it be clothing or human skin..=P

In the perfect world, patients would look this painfully chic but in my real world the usual scene in the Emergency Room are motorcycle accident with their messed up faces, stabwounds and gunshots. I'm actually expecting a lot of gunshot/stabwounds tonight because today is a national holiday in the Philippines.

So no work + drunk men = not a good picture..=P

You know the drill. My brother doesn't know the concept of outfit picture so my shoes are cut off in almost all the pics! hehe.. He's still the best diamond peel partner though! The brother and I are diamond peel facial partners-in-crime. Sister 1 is obsessed with tanning so she doesn't want her face constantly scraped while sister 2 has super sensitive skin and her face can't tolerate the procedure.

This was taken during the weekend, it was especially hot and humid that day so I wore something really light and "un-clingy". I like this dress because the fabric is light and design is simple but not boring because the asymmetric hem gives it a little bit of drama!

I'm going on an out-of-town trip on Thursday with these crazies!=)

It is our official interns' outing. All of us are excused from our hospital duties, so fun!! I'm so excited because there'll be some games, watersports and a blue-themed party at night! Aaaaahhhh and I can't wait to play TONG-ITS (card games) with Caps and Nsh!

Actually, I myself can not say that I'm 100% Jacob or 100% Edward because they both have endearing qualities and charm. But when I was reading New Moon I was kind of 75% Jacob and 25% Edward because Jacob's vibe was light & playful. Very "buddy" vibe, which I like. But in general, I'm still Team Edward, of course..=) I'm all for KILIG (giddy) moments and cheesy lines!!

My family and I ate dinner at Sentro 1771 yesterday. The restaurant specializes in contemporary Filipino cuisine. I LOVED the food so much that I brought home the leftover cornedbeef sinigang and I had them for breakfast this morning!

After dinner, we stopped by Rockwell's Moonlit Bazaar and I scored this vintage Casio watch from the 70's. At first I was doubtful of its "vintage-icity" but when I showed it to my Dad, he said that he had the exact watch when he was in college. So yey I'm so happy with my great find, it has the normal analog arms and a digital display too. I have a thing for "pang-tatay looking" watches. I like watches that look like it doesn't belong to me that's why I always borrow the BF's watch too.

You might have noticed my pictures alternate from crappy to nice shots. Crappy quality shots = my 2 sisters are not with me (no DSLR camera and no patient photographers). I seriously want an SLR too, last year I didn't think I would want one so I bought myself Chanel earrings and lots of pretty things from downtown SF instead of a camera. haha. But now me thinks I want one too! I'm currently crushing on a Canon 500D.

Went karaoke (or VIDEOKE in Filipino =P) last night. Fun night, sang songs from the Beatles, Eraserheads and a bunch of old cheesy Filipino songs! ER duty later then I have Sunday off tomorrow yey!! Might go to a bazaar and shop a little..

DIY Necklace: Pretty and Punk

Black stones whatever and neon pink string - from Carolina's fabric store

In lieu of the White Tank DIY, I tweaked a necklace that I bought from Carolina's (I don't even know if it's a necklace because it didn't have chains and there was no way to wear it). I bought neon pink strings and doubled knotted it into each space. Took me around 10-15 minutes of twisting and knotting. I like how it kinda looks a bit rock and roll but girly and classic at the same time..=) Such a versatile piece, can't wait to wear it!

I actually tried doing the White Tank DIY last night but my scissors weren't sharp enough and the lace got snagged..=( Plus, my patience ran out and I got sleepy haha.. So I'll probably do it on the weekend when I'm home.

Remember my Nicole Whisenhunt bib necklace obsession? (still obsessed with them until now) I'm in those I-need-this--insert the name of the object of lust-in-my-life-moments again! The ring is just so me. I love sushi more than any other food!! Like if I would eat only one food everyday for the rest of my life it would be SALMON SUSHI WITH CREAM CHEESE at Red Kimono.. Not a big fan of tuna though.. Too bad, they don't have a SALMON SUSHI ring. If I see one then it's super DESTINY..

But then again, I dont have $850 (40,000++ pesos) to spend on this beautiful artwork so I would have to settle with the real thing instead..=)

*this was taken two weeks ago when the sister and I went to the mall..

1. spending time with my sister and eating cheap but delicious desserts:

Less than 100 peso desserts from the food court.
I forgot the name of the store but they sell super delicious desserts all for less than 100 pesos (less than $2)

Currently loving KFC crushers -- love this strawberry yogurt drink that has undissolved milk tidbits.. Super yummy and it's only 75 pesos! (less than $2)

2. window shopping.. I am crushing on this blazer from Mango... love how they mixed the classic look of tweed with a biker jacket silhouette..

3. rediscovering hidden treasures in my closet.

I was kinda sad to learn that the Topshop store in Alabang has closed already.. I really hope that they are just relocating to a bigger space.. Will check it out again this weekend.. I do not shop there weekly (Topshop isn't really the cheapest place to shop at) but I love the eye candy and inspirations it gives me just going into that tiny store..

Thank you for all your lovely and concerned comments about my Typhoon post.. Hopefully everything will turn out better for the other Filipinos who weren't as lucky.. I didn't post last week because I was feeling kinda guilty over the situation. I also felt that last week was not the time to talk about fashion and latest finds as there were more important matters to spend time and energy on. THE WRATH OF TYPHOON ONDOY

I read somewhere that Hurricane Katrina dumped 1 inch of rain in 3 hrs & another 0.5 inch per hr over next 5 hrs while Typhoon Ondoy dumped average of 2.24 inches per hr for 1st 6 hrs. There are still a lot of places here that have waters up to the roof of their houses..=( In other places, dead bodies are seen hanging from trees, riverside and streets..

The wall divides the river and the parking lot..
The wall collapsed.. Fortunately, nobody got hurt.

This is the parking lot which turned into a swimming pool. Good thing I was running late that day the slots at the back were full so parked my car in front. The front part didn't get too flooded.

ANG KAPAL NG FEZ MO GRABE!! (You really have no shame). I feel sorry for your parents.. After people saw this shoutout they bombarded her Multiply account with angry comments and in 2 hours 6000 comments were made all angry and disgusted at her.. Instead of just thanking the Lord for blessing you, you come up with these crazy selfish shoutouts!

I kinda felt guilty because I realized -- OMG here I am worried about my car not getting submerged in the flood (it didn't) and my laptop not getting wet (only the charger got wet) when I turned on the TV other people are fighting dehydration and hypothermia on top of the roof of their houses and some lost their loved ones. I didn't realize that the floods were that bad in other areas. Yes, I can be materialistic at times but I learned to count my blessings.

I said a silent prayer of thanks because my family was safe back home and our house did not get flooded.. Let us pray for those who died and those who are still missing.

DIY WHITE TANK SERIES: Week 1

Every week I'll be doing a DIY project (or should I say TIY - Tweak it yourself) using the good ol' classic white tank. I'll only try to do designs that are simple, easy to finish (30 minutes maximum) and those that require minimal sewing or none at all..=)

Materials: white tank, applique-y fabric or any fabric with texture, safety pin or needles.
Total DIY time: 15 minutes

I saw this fabric glue in the mall and got so giddy because it promised to glue fabrics together, yes, even leather! No sewing for me yay! But to my disappointment, the glue was so watery and is not sticky at all.. It just left a yellow stain on the cotton, uuugghhh such a waste of my 160 pesos ($4)!

So I went back to my most trusted SAFETY PINS!! Cheap (piso lang isa/$1 for 50 pieces) and it did the job very well. I just aligned the flower fabric on each side then pinned it on the tank..

VOILA!!!
Love the fact that it looks like a suspender -- a very girly suspender!

I decided to put on make-up today since I don't often wear make-up in the hospital (only cheekstain and occasional eyeliner).
These are the products I used today.Quite a lot but it didn't show haha..

I'm in my apartment during the weekdays so I don't have anyone to take pictures of me. It was hard finding a spot to take pictures in my apartment as I don't know where to position the camera, it's either too low or too high.. In the end, I found my spot: I stood on top of the table and put my camera on top of the my closet nearby. With the help of my medbooks as the makeshift tripod..=P

Excuse me for being MIA these days..
It's been a week since I've last posted.. I'm currently rotating in the ICU/CCU in the hospital and it's draining the energy out of me.. It's physically and emotionally tiring, but I'm not complaining though.. I go on 36 hours of duty and I only have 1-2 hours of sleep on a lucky night.. When I get home all I want to do is sleep sleep sleep! In a few days, I'll be done with the ICU/CCU rotation and I'll have more free time again..

I made a random to do list for when I have more free time:

watch Gossip Girl season 3!!! Chuck Bass mi love..=)
watch the Beautiful Life series (looks promising no?)
DIY! DIY! DIY! Watch out I have an upcoming DIY FOR THE LAZY!hehe=)
mini shopping with my friend Maneesh
get my roots retouched
organize my make-up kit (which I don't use nowadays)
do more outfit posts
study a little (ok not a little, study more!)
eat frozen yogurt!

And oh, for those in Manila: Have you watched In My Life (Filipino movie) already? Me likey! Ang ganda!! John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano make such a cute couple.. Very convincing!! Go watch it if you haven't.

While checking my blogger reading list, I noticed that everyone is in NY or is planning to go to NY for Fashion week.. SO LUCKY!! Uugghhh I'm so jealous, I seriously wish I wake up tomorrow in Chuck Bass' hotel.. I've been to NY once but it was a one day very tourist-y trip (think Statue of Liberty and I love NY shirts..) I didn't even get to see Times Square at night..

Hmmm but reality check: this whole medical internship is my priority in life.. I hope I pass the Philippine medical licensure in August thenI'll take a short trip to Japan (my parents said yes about Japan!) then head to NY while revewing for the US Medical Licensure exam..

The MAGIC of blogging, I'm in the hospital most of the day but when I go home and turn on my laptop I'm instantly transported to NY! I'm so glad that I get to witness fashion week through Dream Sequin's, Lynn's, Nini's, Rumi's and Karla's blog..

The knotted necklace is another great find, this time it's from Robinson's department store for 150 pesos! ($3).. I love how these dept stores are stepping up their fashion game! Good job. *clap clap*
I'm having picnik fever as evidenced by the heavy editing in my scenery shots haha..
Editing pictures on picnik relaxes me so much. You must try it, so addicting and fun!
I wish I have more outfit pics with natural sunlight. Must find a location in the house soon.
And oh, I love my new platforms! The brother and I walked a distance of around $30 worth of cabfare and I was still alive and camwhoring haha..=) Pinched a little but considering the distance, I am thoroughly impressed..

Some of the many reason why I love Carine & Julia:

they can look oh-so-painfully-hip in pictures but you will see other tender and very normal mom and daughter moments of them too.. They always seem to have fun together!
because I heart Carine's hair.. the bob is getting a little old already.
because Julia and Carine are such cool names.. The name Bee reminds me of Jollibee, a local mascot for a fastfood chain here in Manila. (Only the name though, not the face..=P)

Guam was beautiful! The beach has very nice fine sand although there were parts of the ocean with moss because it's rainy season already.The sun didn't shine much of the day because it was raining intermittently. Too bad our Guam trip was wrong timing, last night my grandmother who's been living with us for the past 2 months has passed away (she has been sick for around 2 months). So we cancelled our island tour and mostly stayed in our hotel the following day because we weren't in the mood already. Now we're packing for home to see Lola.. I wish I was home right now..=(

I'm off to Guam on Wednesday!

I'm super super excited! I'm not so much of a beach lover (Sister 1 is), but after google-ing and google-ing about Guam I think I'm a convert. I hope the non-beach lover brother would feel the same way too..=P I'm not yet done packing but I plan to bring easy, flowing dresses, light tanks and shorts and I'll try to bring only 1 pair of heels.. It's so hard to pack light because I am such a Pack-rat!!

I really need this pocket vacation before September because come September it's gonna be crazy.. I'm going to be rotating in the MOST TOXIC department in the hospital -- Internal Medicine which means sleepless nights, standing for hours with little or no food, super stressful and sometimes scary ER situations -- like at least 1 dead person/day.

Do you have any suggestions on:

what to do?
yummy but not so expensive restaurants?
great shopping places?
must-go to tourist spots?

Did you know that when I first heard about our Guam trip the first thing I googled was:
"Guam"+"forever 21" haha, I am so lame..
Sadly, there is none.. =(

Stuctured vs Slouchy + my fave mall in the world!

Today is a national holiday which means -- no classes (im my case, no duty) for me!! YEY!

I promised my cousin to bring my darling 7-month old niece to the Dora the Explorer show but when we got there were no available seats anymore..
The lines were crazy!! Nagkalat ang mga Aleli Alindogan at mga atat na madir!! (The mall was so full of nannies/yaya and the super excited moms, my cousin included). So we decided to reserve for the Sunday show so Isabelle, my niece, would get a better view of Dora, Diego and the BIG PINATA!! haha..

This mall feels like home to me because it holds a LOT of memories dating back to childhood.
Some additional reasons why I love Town:

It's near our house.
It's near my school where I went from Nursery to Highschool.. We used to walk from our school to Town.
Because when I was in Grade 4 or Grade 5, I bought the PAMBANSANG P.E. SHOES of our generation there..haha the United Colors of Benetton sneakers!! I remember feeling so cool about it haha..=P
Because Cibo is there!! I'm so happy because I got to eat my favorite pasta and pomelo shake again!!

Nyum nyum nyum nyum!!

Because even if I don't have money I can still entertain myself and read foreign fashion magazines for free. (at powerbooks)
Because they have a new FAMILY LOUNGE.. I feel like I'm in someone's chic house.

Because they have the cleanest restrooms.
Because never have I gone there without seeing a familiar face from my old school.
Because back in the days when the boy and I were just buddies, we've always hung out here with our other highschool friends. The Mcdonald's in front has always been our meeting place, especially during our Tagaytay craze.

Because my favorite store to window shop is there. RUSTAN'S!! Just want to share some of the cute stuff I saw today. I'm a sucker for cute and useless things.. Too bad I don't have extra money for these stuff because I recently bought stuff for my upcoming beach trip.. Poorita Jones na akes! (I'm broke haha)

I'm wearing a corset-ish top from Topshop. I like it because it has bone on both sides but doesn't look stiff like the gowns. The dropcrotch pants is the twin sister of the black I wore in my older posts. It's from the wonderstore SM again haha..And oh, I decided to have pink instead of my forever red nailpolish.. I kinda like its cheery color, puts me in a good mood. =)

Lady Gaga's concert was crazy good!!

It was short but super super enjoyable. Her voice sounds great live and her dancing and antics were out of this world.. And the outfits -- aahhhhhhh one amazing outfit after another! Love her shiny outfits and her Vivienne Westwood blazer.. As usual she was pants-less.. I am in awe with Lady Gaga's butt, I wish mine would be as perky as hers haha!!

Went with my sister and her friend. We ended the night eating sushi and people watching. I didn't get to take clear photos of Lady Gaga because we were so far from the stage.

Didn't get to post this immediately because I'm quite a busy bee lately and my last duty was a bit toxic than usual.. ER call at 3AM, then another ER call at 630AM where we sutured an eyebrow then as we were about to go out of the ER we had another patient. He worked in a factory and the blade of the grinder hit his face hitting his eyes nose and mouth (almost slashing his face in half). I really felt sorry for him. Oooppss sorry for such gory details..

There will be another 2 holidays this week.. Yey!!!

Eeeekkkkkkkkk I can't believe I'm watching Lady Gaga on the 11th! 2 weeks ago I accepted the fact that I won't be able to go because our duty schedules weren't announced until a few days ago and by that time I know my sched, tickets might have been sold out. The last 2 concerts I wanted to go to were Ne-Yo's and Craig David's but I was duty those nights.. (the perks of the hospital world..boo)

Luckily, I'm not on duty on Tuesday and the sister texted me a few minutes ago that

she got us tickets!! Probably the worst seats in our concert-attending history but

Tomorrow is a non-working holiday here in the Philippines since tomorrow will be the burial of Former President Cory Aquino. I don't have plans of going out because I'm pretty sure traffic will be crazy, instead I made a list of "home activities" for tomorrow.

1. Watch the funeral ceremonies/parade on TV. I was super young when Ninoy Aquino died (her husband) but my dad said that it was the most attended funeral in the history of the Philippines. 2 million Filipinos attended the funeral march. Now that I'm old enough to watch and to remember I will not miss it for sure.

2. Be a stay-at-home-mom for 1 day to my not so little Stella.

She is in her "teething" phase right now, I bought her chew toys/food but she keeps on munching on everything -- even my hair! I bought her 4 dresses today but sadly some of them were a bit small for her.
She has grown a lot already!
My cousins describe her as a cross between a polar bear and a pig haha. So cute!I love animal prints! And the checkered one reminds me so much of Gwen Stefani!

I also bought her a new "dining set".

She is wearing a dress with a ballerina print.
Love the skirt detail of the dress because it is not purely printed.
The gray and white fabrics were sewn over the print, i likey.

I'll try to bring her somewhere "grass-y" because the 1st and last time she experienced playing in the grass was the day we bought her and brought her home. Hope to squeeze in a little oufit post too.

3. Swim in my vintage Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle magazines circa 1990-1993. YES the golden years of the SUPERMODELS!! These are my aunt's but they are mine now! woot woot. She gave them to me last week and I fought the urge to read them immediately because I still had my Physiology exam last Saturday.

When I was around 9 or 10 years old I clearly remember reading these 2 magazines in her living room.. The only models I knew that time were Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Nikki Taylor.
And now 14 years later I will be reading and devouring it again!!

This morning, I was preparing stuff to bring back to my apartment. I usually bring my uniform, scrubsuits, my white blouses and my saturday civilian clothes, nothing extra.. But this week it's different, tonight I'm going to dinner with my college friends whom I haven't seen in 2 years.. SUPER EXCITED!!=) On Friday, we'll have dinner then we'll watch the gig of my medschool friends.. So yey I have reasons to dress-up this week!! I'm so happy! So I brought more clothes.. I mostly brought gray-black pieces, it's easier to bring clothes in the same shade if you're in a hurry..

Yesterday my sisters and I went out to eat.We were so happy that Pepper Lunch has opened its branch in Alabang yey! The food is super yummy as usual, I'm actually craving for some salmon teriyaki at this moment.. Was supposed to post a little food porn but all our eating pics turned into .NEF files and I can't upload it..grrrr..

After dinner, I usually roam around the mall and windowshop but I wasn't in the mood... Hmm maybe because I'm broke, that's why!=P So we just camhored instead, so much fun!

I've always been a fan of the basic tank+ skirt combo but this time I want to try something different. So I wore a textured top (I wore this in one of my older post) with a printed skirt and I liked how it turned out.. The skirt is actually a maxi dress I bought at Surplus shop for cheaps! (again) The cut was unflattering but I loved the print so I still bought it and had it reworked into a skirt..

Here are my sisters, our styles are different but kind of overlaps also.. Sister 2 is more of sporty and she likes printed clothes while Sister 1 is super fond of layering and is fond of artsy prints because she paints and does a lot of art. We borrow clothes from each other, mostly jackets/blazers and we share the love for accessories! The only thing they don't borrow from me are my shoes because my feet are too big!

Old pics, this was taken last Sunday but didn't post it because I wanted to post the 50th first.. I'm loving the relaxed look lately, long cardigans with cuffed jeans. This cardigan in particular is my favorite because it is SUPER soft, almost as soft as a Kleenex tissue. As you can see I committed a fashion faux-pas here haha, I was running late for the Sunday mass and couldn't find my black bra so I wore light colored bra.. Flash is the enemy!! (that's why I'm covering it in the last pic) haha

Ate dinner with family and my niece who slept the entire time. Too bad, I really wanted to feed her ice cream and other yummy desserts at Friday's..

My Magic Skirt + DIY chain necklace again!

Let me tell you a little story about this skirt I saw this in SM department store a month ago and was immediately smitten because of it's tiered puffy look.. I thought to myself: " Me likey! Very avant-garde looking.. Am I really in SM?" So I tried it and of course I took it home along with her nude colored sister..

When I went home to try it on again, I noticed that the puffs were not equal so I inspected the inside. I was surprised to discover that the skirt was the magic skirt I saw online a long time ago.. I was so happy to see the knots on the inside!! I was so excited with the possibilities..

I can wear it and puff it differently..And I can wear it as a simple long skirt if I unknot the ribbons inside.. The skirt is such a genius and what's best is it's only 400 pesos! Initially, the puffs were the reason why I bought it but when I tried the long version, I kinda like the starkness of it more..=)

Which style do you like more the puffed or the long skirt?(Tank: Topshop; Skirt: SM dept store; Shoes: Primadonna; Sunglasses: People are People; DIY chain necklace; Bag: Louis Vuitton) Oh, and the necklace is a new DIY.
It's a one-of-a-kind piece not because the materials are rare or it's hard to do but only because I just tied, twisted, knotted and VOILA instant DIY necklace, I don't know how to replicate it hehe..=P

Prison chic + Sunday Duty Outfit

Being a medical intern, we are allowed to wear civilian clothes during our weekend duty. In this Psychiatry rotation we are allowed to do so but they have a dress code:

*no sleeveless/tube tops/plunging necklines/see-thru
(if you wear sleeveless/tube you'd have to wear the uniform blazer over it)
*no miniskirts
*heels are a yes but no open-toed sandals

So I wore my ever reliable men's checkered polo.. This is probably one of the pieces I get most wear because it's no fuss and it's very comfy.. I avoid wearing clingy stuff because it's so hot in the hospital and there's so much work to do that I don't want to worry about my top.. I'm also wearing my super old (6 year old) pink suede pumps from Mango..

Haha and just for kicks I edited this picture to make it appear spooky because last night our resident doctor was telling this crazy scary story about a patient dying in that hall.. And apparently, it was his death anniversary last night! Hmmm I don't know if it's true but it sure scared me!

This was my outfit last Saturday the boy and I got our doggy's papers from the breeder and on the way home we went to Eastwood for an early dinner and I ate Red Mango frozen yogurt for dessert again!! I'm so obsessed with frozen yogurt I actually ate 4x in a week!

I'm wearing a dress/top I bought last weeek from the 495 sale rack in Zara.. I can't believe it's only 495 ($10)! I'm actually not a fan of orange because it reminds me so much of the prison uniform here in the Philippines. I probably own only 2 orange pieces in my closet but I still bought it because I can't resist the SUBTLE DRAPING at the hem.. Plus the upper portion has 2 buttons and when you unbutton it the dress looks like a vest..

I wore what I call my "Rihanna gloves".. Reminds me of the times when Rihanna used to wear those fingerless gloves..=P I got it from those souvenir/grocery store near Lake Tahoe..

I am currently rotating in the Psychiatric Ward for 2 weeks in another hospital and it is so HOT in our intern's lounge!!! Where's the rain when you need it? The whole hospital is surrounded by tons of trees, they even have a golf course around here but I don't know why I can't feel the cold wind.. Hmm probably because the windows here have metal screens and the intern's lounge here (that's where we stay) has no aircon.. I miss Lake Tahoe.. Just the right amount of cold with the sun shining through..=)

Other than the heat, I'm actually liking this Psych rotation lots of things to learn and the patients are so fun to talk to..=) Every Monday and Friday we hold "socializations" and I was the host last time.. We played a lot of educational games and gave prizes, some of the patients sing and during the end of the program we give them some snacks.. It's actually fun, I 'm really enjoying it!

I realized I'll be posting my 50th soon! Yeyyyyy!!=)

A few months ago, I found an online store selling them but the pick-up only took place last Saturday.. The boy bought it for me!! Super happy with these boxes.. I won't put all my shoes here only the delicate ones like my snakeskin and suede shoes.. I love the fact that my bulkiest shoes fit into it. yey!

I'm having DIY fever! I know my draping skills are non-existent but it doesn't stop me from trying..=) This one is super easy and would just take about 10 minutes of your precious time.. There are actually 3 safety pins on the shirt, 1 at the middle and 2 on each side. I need to practice more, draping is so fun! Oh and the shoes are new, so happy.. I got them on sale!=)

Uuggghhh the camera's so weird the shots were taken one after the other and yet they seem to have different lightings and settings. (except the 1st one because I edited it)

haha this was the day when my friends decided to gamble with 25 centavo coins! So annoying!
Med school is super stressful, we need to unwind sometimes.

I ask this set of questions to every patient "Nanggaling po ba sa ibang bansa? Me ubo, sipon, lagnat, masakit ang lalamunan? Pangalan, pirma ho." "Have you been to another country? Do you have cough, colds, fever or sore throat? Please put your name and signature here"

I'm not kidding, we have an average of 160-200 patients a day, so you do the math.. Phhewww I'm glad I do not manifest a single symptom. Haaayyyy!

The prices were not shown but from the looks of it I know that I CANNOT AFFORD IT!! huhuhu...=( Bakit ba kasi Poorita Jones akes?!?haha.. If only I had the $$$$, in these case the PPPPP! (pesos!) I'm in DIY heaven!!!

Yesterday, my sister and I were supposed to go to a shoe exhibit but due to the super heavy traffic we didn't make it on time. Boo! So we decided to go to Carolina's instead, a store selling all kinds of fabric, sequins, beads, chains, feathers and basically all your sewing needs! I love this store so much!! I used to go to their other branch on Fridays after school and just spending hours exploring all the eyecandy in the store..=)

This is probably my favorite bottom lately. It looks like you dressed up but in reality it's easier to wear than my good old skinny jeans. I feel like I'm wearing a chicer version of my pajamas. So comfy!

I am in love with the sleeves!

The shoes look kinda black in the other pics but it is actually dark green as in "table tennis green" If you are looking for a certain color, like table tennis green, or maybe a certain style, like my batwing sleeves, you can find it at Red Tag with wholesale clothing.

Wholesale prices means you get more for your money and if you're like me who loves fabulous clothes and accessories but is always on a budget (I'm still kinda a student, you know), I'll give it a look.

Today my friend Maneesh and I went to the mall for dinner and a little shopping..=) He has been in a quite toxic rotation so he wanted a break..=) As for me, I'm still rotating in Community and Family Medicine and we have a lot of free time during this rotation but come August/September I'll be rotating in Internal Medicine (where my friend is currently rotating) and I will be a WALKING ZOMBIE when that time comes..=P

My patho exam was scheduled at 9:00AM that same day. I was planning not to sleep because my school/hospital is at least an 1 1/2 hour drive but I was too sleepy I woke up at 8:30 AM . I was SUPER in panic mode haha left home at 9AM.. It was a Saturday morning but traffic is getting worse in the South Luzon expressway.. Good thing my friend texted me that the exam wasn't starting yet... Exams started at 10:30 I arrived at 10:45 pwhheeeew!!

I'm wearing my new favorite top-- the bleached tank! I tied the ends in the middle and made it a cropped top. The draped skirt is from SM department store.. (Oh yes, they sell draped satin skirts there now!!) The shoes I got from DSW bargain basement it was originally priced at $99.99 but was reduced to $29.99!! The heels are so high it is taller than my iphone!

I still don't regret I went out though, it was soooo FUN!!

Can I make kwento? (Can I tell you a little story?)

I am super pissed off with the traffic situation in the South (C5 going to Bicutan area).. For the past 2 days I have been stuck in SUPER HEAVY traffic while going home.. Proof that the traffic is really bad:

1. when you see vendors selling all kinds of food and other stuff in an otherwise deadly highway.. Last Friday, there were 3 vendors then when I was going home again on Saturday there were already 8-10 vendors!

2. I actually studied inside the car. Not just browse ha, as in complete with highlighters and side notes! We were not moving..

3. I can actually take a picture of both of my feet! That is my school shoes BTW.. It has tulle pompoms!=)

4 DIY necklaces in 30 minutes!

Started out with these:

The leopard print ribbon is actually my pony tail holder, I just pinned it to the chain..

My Mix and Match DIY Necklaces.. I call them "The Pinned Collection". I don't know if they're actually 4 because they're kinda mix and match and some are parts of the chunkier necklace and some pieces can be worn on their own. Yes, I did it in 30 minutes because I only used safety pins to anchor and put the chains together. No scissors, pliers or hooks.. So fun, I felt so crafty last night!

And oh, remember the sneakpeek DIY necklace I posted before? I'm also done with it but I want to post it with decent outfit posts.. Not me looking silly with the selftimer in my cramped up apartment..=P

Today, we ate at our favorite pasta place Cibo!! We always order the same thing haha!!! Everytime.

The other day my sunglasses leapt to its own death and as much as I want to bring him back to life it's just not possible anymore.. I'm kinda sad because I know it's such a cheap sunglasses ($5.99) but I LOOOVED the design so much!!=( Plus it reminds me of Downtown SF, my favorite place next to Manila.. =( So this will be his last photo-op..

Goodbye my camwhore buddy for 3 months! The billiard table and I are going to miss you..=P

Tired but happy

Yesterday, the health center where I'm currently rotating sent me to an "Operation: Tule" (Tule = circumcision) Wikipedia describes it as the removal of some or all of theforeskin (prepuce) from the penis .. Yes, we performed circumcision on little boys and not-so-little boys(?!?!) yesterday. It was fun I was able to finish 6 but it was SOOOO TIRING! The procedure itself is easy and fast (15-20 min and you're done) but the place where it was held was so hot.. No aircon, we were sharing electric fans and the windows were slightly closed because all the other kids were peeping inside so the heat practically drained the life out of me!

It was tiring but super fun and those kids are hilarious.. Special mention to the gay kiddies haha when a gay kid comes out after the circumcision, the crowd waiting outside claps and shouts "Yehey dalaga na siya!!" (Yey, you're a LADY now!!)

My friend and I went to the mall to watch a movie that night and I almost cancelled because I was too tired.. Good thing I didn't because I came home with these lovelies!! Talkin' bout some retail therapy..=)

I call it the Edward Cullen shirt because it reminds me of the gray shirt he wore in the movie! (I'm a big twilight fan..=P) When the boy tried it on it was too plunging for him so he gave it back and yey it fits me fine!=) Love the shirt it is so soft! The shoes are an impulse buy. I went to the mall a few days ago to buy groceries and I ended up with these babies!! haha=P

In other news, 2 of my closest friends in medschool are throwing a housewarming party today for their new apartment. I'll be going later, so excited!=)

Cleaned my room today and found my missing rings and other accessories.. Here are a few of my favorite rings. Love them because they have so much character in them just like people!

Last night my imagination went wild and decided to concoct a silly story..

Meet Leon and Ms. Queen Bee. Ms. Queen Bee is high maintenance and very fussy but sweet most of the time. They are getting married today! Leon is wearing an all black suit by Dior and Ms. Queen Bee is rocking a Vera Wang gown..

This is Skully.. The two are best buddies since gradeschool. Leon is the serious type he would always do Skully's homework and Skully is the class clown.

Ms. Queen Bee threw a hissy fit because Leon invited her sexy ex-girlfriend (she is wearing a Dolce and Gabbana leopard dress) and the wedding was almost cancelled! Here they are with Ms. Queen Bee's mother wearing her vintage table cloth hahaha.. In the end everything worked out and they lived happily ever after.=)

Black or White?

Rummaged through my closet for something to wear for our dinner and found these 2 dresses I bought last year. Which do you like more? I wanted to wear the white one because it looks fresh and summery (although Manila weather is getting crazier everyday, there was a typhoon named "Emong" the other day) but the white was kinda see thru and I can't find something to wear underneath so I went with black!!

The only good thing about the crazy Manila weather: I get to wear hooded dresses in the middle of the "supposed to be" summer!
